Design Process
Requirements gathered from stakeholders
I have been working with Iravati, who is the head of PM in Yahoo Small Business.

Based on her requirements, there are three main parts in this onboarding process, which are a five-question questionnaire, a products recommendation page, and account creation step. The goal is recommending the customized products to users and making the users pay for our products. According to our previous test version, users dropped when we asked them to create an account. So another goal is improving the percentage of account creation.

The expected launch time of our entire product is the beginning of August.

Requirements analysis
1 The onboarding process is important because it gives the first impression for our users to know about our brand and products.

2 We need to collect user information by asking questions to recommend products to our users.

3 Users need more motivation to pay for our products.

4 Users need more motivation to create an account with us.

User research and primary persona
My colleague did some research and created our primary persona Cindy. I visualized Cindy and showed her to our whole team in one presentation.
